Classic Banana Bread

This Classic Banana Bread recipe is so moist and super easy to make. It’s a great way to use up extra bananas before they go bad. I like using very ripe, squishy bananas where the peels have the brown/black spots on them. They are much sweeter and make the bread taste better. I don’t typically like bananas, but this Classic Banana Bread recipe makes them taste divine!

I remember making a banana bread recipe growing up that was so complicated that I dreaded the job of making it. This Classic Banana Bread recipe is so simple and other than the baking time, it is quite quick to mix up. It’ll have your whole kitchen smelling amazing!

I love to eat it warm from the oven with lots of butter but it taste great the next day too. I often will pop a few slices in the toaster to rewarm them. It makes a great snack or an addition to breakfast. We love eating a long side different breakfast egg recipes or with this Fresh Fruit Salad.
